International chanteuse, GRETA, moved to NY after spending her early years in Paris. Performing in opera, Greta created her own club act giving concerts throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Australia, the U.S. and at various NYC venues. Her repertoire consists of songs written in French, English and German by Aznavour, Brel, Cohen, Ferry, Hollaender, Piaf, Sting, and Weill, and has included them on her CDs. "This lady doesn't leave one emotion untouched…she caresses them and then tears them wide open," writes Stuart Lee of Nightlife Magazine, "It takes a certain feeling, a certain sensibility…to really understand the passion, the edge, the danger of these songs… this is Soul Music." Philis Raskind of Theatre Scene says: "Greta is all passion, fervor, ardently breathless, has a magnificent ageless quality…Greta's passion rises to a war-cry, fever pitch in songs like "Les Jeux Sont Finis" and "Quand Tu T'en Iras," bringing these numbers to a close with arms upwardly outstretched like a Valkyrie on fire." Berlin-Paris Express, performed with Karen Kohler, received great critical acclaim. Peter Leavy of Cabaret Scenes writes: "There is an instant sense of difference between the usual cabaret show…and its Euro counterpart: the…passion and intensity seem to come with the territory or heritage…cabaret in Paris or Berlin can hardly be better than this."
